Heating Instructions
Frozen Meals
Microwave (Recommended)
- Remove the meal from any cardboard packaging.
- Place the meal in the microwave with the film intact unless the meal label states otherwise.
- Heat according to the instructions on the meal label.
- Allow to stand for 1–2 minutes before carefully removing the film.
- Stir where appropriate and ensure the meal is piping hot all the way through before serving.
Thawed (Chilled) Meals
- Store thawed meals refrigerated and consume within the recommended timeframe.
- Heat according to the instructions on the meal label.
- Allow to stand for 1–2 minutes before serving.
- Ensure the meal is piping hot all the way through.
Meal Guide
Meal Type | Heating |
Main Meals | Suitable for heating from frozen or thawed. Follow the label instructions. |
Mini Meals | Suitable for heating from frozen or thawed. Heating time will be shorter than full-sized meals. |
Desserts | Can be enjoyed chilled (where suitable) or heated following the instructions on the label. |
Important Information
- Do NOT Heat above 120 deg
- Always follow the heating instructions printed on the meal label, as cooking times vary between meals and microwave wattages.
- Heating times provided are a guide only.
- Ensure food reaches a safe serving temperature and is steaming hot throughout before eating.
- Take care when removing the meal from the microwave, as the container and contents may be hot.
- Do not reheat meals more than once.
If thawing before heating, keep meals refrigerated until ready to use.
